AmeriCorps Members Team Up with Youth Congress on Environmental Stewardship Project
The AmeriCorps tutors and students from Admiral Herbert G. Hopwood Junior High School as well as a tutor from William S. Reyes Elementary School assisted members of the 15th CNMI Youth Congress in their intra-island beach clean-up along the shoreline from Naked Fish establishment to The Shack. The clean-up effort commenced at 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 31, 2015. Volunteers and youth senators picked up garbage ranging from dirty diapers to rusty metal chairs.
